Miquon Math Scope and Sequence Chart

The information in this chart comes from the Lab Sheet Annotations and is designed to assist you in using Miquon Math. In addition to using the books sequentially to cover several concepts at a similar level of difficulty, learners can pursue individual concepts by level of difficulty. For example, a student interested in fractions (H) can move from the designated pages in the orange book to the red book and blue book to cover increasingly complex concepts. In all of the books, pages that cover fractions will have an H before the page number. This unique numbering system gives you the flexibility to easily skip around in the books to cover the topics that interest your child and to cover them at their ability level rather than presenting them only in the order they are included in the books. This chart can also help you decide where to start if your child has already been introduced to math with a more traditional approach. We recommend starting at a level that may seem to be a grade or two earlier than your child's grade level as the Miquon introduces many concepts much earlier than traditional math curriculums.
